Cherie Chavez has been making photos for as long as she can remember. She finds beauty in everything and believes art saves lives. Her work has appeared in numerous exhibitions and publications, including SNAP: A National Juried Photography Exhibition and Musée. She was born in Oakland, CA and lived in the Bay Area until 2021 when she moved to Pittsburgh, PA where she currently lives with her husband and a cat named Maulie Jean Harvey.
